This policy explains what information we collect when you visit KlowStackPeptide, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We aimed for plain English over legalese, because a privacy policy you cannot read or understand protects no one.

What We Collect

We keep data collection to a minimum, and it falls into two buckets.

• Information you give us. If you subscribe to updates or email us, we receive the email address and any message you send. That is your choice, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
• Information collected automatically. Like most sites, we log basic technical data such as your browser type, device and operating system, the pages you view, and how long you stay. This is aggregate analytics, and we do not use it to identify you by name.

We do not ask for, or knowingly collect, sensitive personal details, and we do not require an account to read our guides.

How We Use It

We use what we collect for a short list of purposes, and nothing beyond them:

• To run and secure the site and fix what breaks.
• To understand which guides are useful so we can improve them.
• To send updates only to people who asked for them.
• To answer your messages when you reach out.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use two kinds:

• Essential cookies keep the site working, remembering your preferences and session. These are required for the site to function.
• Analytics cookies help us see how the site is used in aggregate, through a tool such as analytics provider, e.g. Google Analytics or Plausible. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before these load.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Full stop.

A few trusted service providers process data on our behalf, only to run the site: our hosting provider Hostinger, our analytics provider Google Analytics, and our email/newsletter provider Hostinger Mail. They are bound by contract to use it only for the service they provide us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, such as a valid legal request.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data, and we honor them for every reader who asks.

• Under GDPR (EU/UK): you can access, correct, delete, or port your data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
• Under the CCPA/CPRA (California): you can request to know what we collect, ask us to delete it, and opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell your data, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the request stands open.

How Long We Keep It

We hold data only as long as it is useful for the purpose we collected it.

• Newsletter emails stay until you unsubscribe, after which we remove them within 30 days.
• Analytics data is retained for up to 13 months, then deleted or anonymized.
• Server logs are kept for about 12 months for security, then cleared.

How We Protect It

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the little data we hold, including secure hosting and encrypted connections. No site can promise perfect security, so we also keep collection minimal, which is the surest protection of all.

Children’s Privacy

KlowStackPeptide is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version, and any significant change will be noted here. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current policy.
